The ideal candidate will oversee and mentor Speech and Language Therapy students, volunteers, and junior staff as necessary.

Conduct specialized assessments, offer guidance, and implement treatment plans for individuals with communication and swallowing challenges.
Utilize expert knowledge to make informed clinical decisions.
Administer suitable interventions and assess their effectiveness.
Exhibit clinical efficacy through evidence-based methodologies.
Tailor practices to accommodate individual patient requirements, including cultural considerations.
Take responsibility for professional conduct and recognize professional boundaries.

Primary Duties
1. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct specialized assessments, provide recommendations, and deliver treatment for clients.
Employ specialized knowledge for sound clinical decision-making.
Implement appropriate interventions and evaluate their outcomes.
Demonstrate clinical effectiveness through evidence-based practices.
Adapt practices to address individual patient needs and cultural variances.
Be accountable for personal professional actions and acknowledge boundaries.
Adhere to departmental and national protocols as well as the professional code of conduct.
Reflect on patient communication and devise strategies to enhance effectiveness.
Offer guidance to colleagues within the clinical domain.
Multidisciplinary Team Responsibilities:
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to goal-setting.
Manage a caseload of patients and assist in goal-setting and planning.
Fulfill key worker responsibilities.
Collect accurate statistical data and document therapy details.
Service Development Responsibilities:
Utilize rehabilitation and educational skills to instruct the community in therapeutic techniques.
Collaborate with others to develop outcome measures for high-quality service delivery.
Monitor and enhance quality standards for Speech Therapy.
Identify opportunities for service innovation and enhancement.
Education and Research Responsibilities:
Facilitate training and educational programs.
Develop in-service training initiatives and supervise students.
Lead audits and research in the relevant field.

Qualifications
Essential
- Recognized Speech Therapy Degree
- HCPC Registration
- Experience at the master's level
- Registered Member of RCSLT
- Member of relevant Clinical Interest Group
