Your Role

As a Senior View Model Animator, you will play a pivotal role in developing high-quality first-person animations that enhance player immersion. Your work will involve creating animations that closely reflect real-world actions, including weapon handling, combat movements, and character locomotion. You will collaborate with a passionate team of animators, all striving for excellence in our craft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize hand-keyed animation techniques to produce detailed first-person weapon animations that convey player intent.
  • Implement and manage animations using proprietary tools within our advanced game engine.
  • Work closely with various internal and external teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Essential Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in AAA game development, particularly within the first-person shooter genre.
  • A deep passion for animation and video games, along with an appreciation for the entertainment industry.
  • Proficiency in hand-keyed animation techniques.
  • Familiarity with real-world weapon mechanics is advantageous.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines.
  • Expertise in using Maya for animation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, both technical and collaborative.
