Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team at a children's home. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Deputy Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
  • Ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained
  • Leading and managing a team of staff to deliver excellent care
  • Developing and implementing care plans to meet the individual needs of children
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of care and making recommendations for improvement

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification in childcare or a related field
  • Experience of working in a children's home or a similar setting
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
