About the Role:

The Heat Recruitment team is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Department to lead their Commercial Property team. With multiple offices across the region, this role offers the flexibility to be based in any of their Midland's locations.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the Commercial Property department across all offices.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of solicitors and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Provide expert legal advice and services to clients on a wide range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and developments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the department, enhance client relationships, and attract new business.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain the highest standards of professional conduct.
  • Manage departmental budgets and contribute to the firm's financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated legal solutions for clients.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Substantial experience in commercial property law, with a strong track record of managing and leading a legal team.
  • Proven expertise in handling complex commercial property transactions and advising clients on high-value matters.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
