About the Role

Rapid7 is investing heavily in its Belfast office, establishing an AI Centre of Excellence that encompasses AI, ML, and data science. As a leader in cybersecurity, we're leveraging AI to accelerate threat investigation, detection, and response capabilities in our Security Operations Centre (SOC) for both conventional networks and cloud environments.

We're seeking a Principal AI/ML Engineer to help define and deliver an MLOps strategy for our growing AI team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in applied AI R&D, software engineering, MLOps, and DevOps systems and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement MLOps strategies for our AI team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML systems into production environments
  • Design and deploy scalable AI/ML systems, including model risk management strategies
  • Communicate complex AI/ML concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
  • Expertise in ML deployment, software engineering, and containerization
  • Experience with NLP and ML models, including operational frameworks and limitations
  • Proficiency in implementing model risk management strategies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
