Actuarial Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DB pensions and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

• Take a leading role in a wide range of DB pensions projects for occupational DB pension clients, public sector DB pension clients, and bulk annuity providers.
• Conduct benefits and data due diligence, benefit calculation audits, data validation and improvement/creation projects, and calculations testing.
• Attend client meetings and calls, and act as the primary point of contact for some projects.
• Document issues and results with clear communication style by email and phone.
• Produce and review consulting reports on projects, as required.

• Experience in a technical or administration role in DB pensions or currently working in an actuarial team.
• 18-24 months experience working at a checking level.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Pensions calculations experience.
• Flexibility to work on different types of DB pensions projects, sometimes simultaneously.
• Ability to deliver to tight timescales.
• Clear communication with actuaries and non-actuaries.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
