Procurement Assistant Job Description

**Job Summary:**

Novax Recruitment is seeking a skilled Procurement Assistant to join their team in Darlington. This contract role requires a full-time commitment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Assist the procurement team in carrying out further competitions on frameworks and quotation exercises.
* Draft contracts, proposals, and feedback letters.
* Maintain procurement files, assist with file management, and data migration and collation.
* Operate various systems and software, including tendering systems and finance.

**Requirements:**

* Previous experience in a procurement role is essential.
* Experience with e-tendering software and programmes.
* Working knowledge of the Public Contracts regulations 2015 and awareness of the new Procurement Legislation.
* Public sector knowledge is essential.
* MCIPS qualification or certificate preferred.
