Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.

Job Summary:

This Mechanical Design Engineer role involves developing new products and modifying existing ones, while providing technical engineering support across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Product Design and Development: Design and engineer products to meet company standards and best practices.
  2. Product Lifecycle Management: Collaborate with the quality department throughout the design process, support production teams during manufacturing, and communicate with suppliers and customers as needed.
Requirements:
  1. Education: HNC / HND qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Experience: Minimum of two years' experience, post-University, of 3D modeling (SolidWorks preferred).
Skills and Abilities:
  1. Technical Skills: Proficient in 3D modeling software, with a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
  2. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
