HGV Class 1 Driver Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 driver to join our team at Pertemps Birmingham Industrial. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering goods across the country, including inter-depot deliveries and occasional bonded goods to airports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive curtain-sided trailers on inter-depot deliveries across the country, including London
  • Deliver goods to airports on occasion
  • Make 6-10 deliveries per day/night
  • Work with new trucks and equipment
Requirements:
  • Valid CE Licence with 2 years experience
  • Valid CPC & Digi tacho card
  • Flexibility to undertake additional runs and extend daily hours
