Role Overview:

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist II who will be instrumental in formulating and implementing a robust procurement strategy for designated components (goods/services). This role is essential in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality, cost-effective products while managing associated risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct purchasing and inquiry activities within budgetary constraints and timelines, while expediting supplier negotiations and bids.
  • Maintain clear communication regarding order status with internal stakeholders and ensure data accuracy within systems.
  • Resolve complex commercial issues and manage high-value purchase orders effectively.
  • Facilitate risk mitigation processes with suppliers as necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with Sourcing, Engineering, and Project Teams to address execution challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Procurement/Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on solutions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of leading both internal and external meetings.
  • Proficient in identifying process inefficiencies and recommending improvements to enhance quality and reduce costs.
  • Familiarity with SAP and other relevant business systems.
  • Demonstrated commitment, proactivity, and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to make informed decisions and learn from experiences.
  • Eligibility to work and reside in the country without sponsorship.
