Exciting Opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Kingston Barnes. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for undertaking multi-skilled maintenance on an industrial site, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, with experience in fault finding and maintenance of industrial equipment. A multi-skilled approach is highly desirable, with the ability to work on a range of machinery and systems.

As a Maintenance Engineer with Kingston Barnes, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from routine maintenance to complex installations. You will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to delivering high-quality results and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake multi-skilled maintenance on an industrial site, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Conduct fault finding and maintenance of industrial equipment
  • Work on a range of machinery and systems, including 3-phase equipment and PLCs
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operations and high-quality results

Requirements:

  • Electrical or mechanical engineering qualification
  • Experience in fault finding and maintenance of industrial equipment
  • Multi-skilled approach, with ability to work on a range of machinery and systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
