Position Overview

Flourish Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated Foundation Stage Educator to join our team in a Local Authority Nursery School. This role involves working with children aged 2 to 4 years in a nurturing environment that includes a Forest school.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will take on full class responsibilities, collaborating with another educator. Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and preparing educational resources
  • Marking and assessing student work
  • Providing guidance to teaching assistants throughout the day

This position is full-time, operating from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM during term time, and is intended to be long-term.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience in Early Years (EYFS) within the UK, preferably in a nursery setting
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to effectively manage and deploy teaching assistants
  • A current DBS on the Update Service or issued within the last year
  • At least two professional references
