HR Advisor Opportunity

Moxie People is proud to be supporting an organisation in Newport as they seek a skilled HR Advisor to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and support on HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and policy queries.
  • Manage the full recruitment process, from drafting job descriptions to onboarding new hires.
  • Handle employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, with a fair and practical approach.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with UK employment law.
  • Administer the performance review process and support learning and development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with GDPR.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement and workplace culture.
Requirements:
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a HR generalist role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience managing employee relations issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
