Gold NVQ Level 3 Supervisor Card, SSSTS, and comprehensive knowledge of earthworks and groundworks.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Construction Supervisor, your primary duties will include:
1. Leading and overseeing a team of construction personnel, subcontractors, and site staff.
2. Providing clear directives and support to ensure efficient and accurate task execution.
3. Conducting regular team meetings to relay project updates and safety measures.
4. Performing safety inspections and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
5. Implementing safety protocols to mitigate risks and prevent workplace accidents.
6. Effectively managing resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
7. Keeping precise records of resource utilization and inventory status.
8. Ensuring proper maintenance and efficient use of materials and equipment.
9. Maintaining open communication with team members, site managers, and other stakeholders.
10. Preparing and submitting regular progress reports, addressing any issues or delays.
11. Resolving on-site conflicts or challenges in a timely and professional manner.
12. Completing all necessary documentation accurately and punctually, including timesheets and inspection reports.
13. Adhering to all safety protocols and utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
14. Reporting any incidents, near-misses, or safety concerns to the relevant personnel.
