Job Title: Finance Analyst

Cammach Bryant is seeking a highly skilled Finance Analyst to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. This role will be based in Forfar with 1 day per week at our client's Montrose office, offering a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with financial planning and analysis tasks for 2 ledgers (UK and Baku) within the Rig Aftermarket team, covering various departments within the business.
  • Support the local management team with reporting, analysis, and presentation of actual, forecast, and plan numbers as required.
  • Review ongoing projects for relevant Business Units and ensure timely and accurate revenue and cost recognition.
  • Assist in the completion and review of monthly P&L and management reports, and prepare variance analysis for the FP&A Manager.
  • Prepare Labour recovery reconciliations for several Business units and assist the FP&A Manager with their review.
  • Review and reconcile relevant Contract Assets and Liabilities sections, including ageing monitoring and commentary.
  • Monthly working capital analysis and commentary.
  • Monitor monthly Capex spend and forecast against budget.
  • Assist with monthly Forecast and Annual Financial Plan preparation.
  • Build good working relationships with other team members and Business partners.
  • Proactively analyze cost trends within departmental P&Ls and look for efficiencies and continuous improvement.
