About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering Maintenance team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of our electrical plant equipment and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical fault finding and troubleshooting with all electrical installations
  • Conducting daily and routine Planned Machine Maintenance (PPM) checks on all equipment to ensure it is fit for its intended purpose and in good working order
  • Applying continuous improvement methods within all plant infrastructure to improve operations and drive improvements in quality, cost, and safety
  • Completing daily maintenance check sheets and job cards as allocated in a timely manner
  • Completing regular inventory checks to ensure order up to levels for spares and materials are maintained at all times
Requirements
  • Minimum of a City & Guilds qualification and IE Regulations 18th Edition preferred or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a site-based Electrical Engineer, preferably within a food or automated environment
  • Confident communicator and able to work effectively across multiple areas of production with minimal supervision
  • Aptitude for problem-solving and ability to work within a sometimes-pressured environment
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary up to £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Full-time permanent contract of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the ability to be flexible for occasional weekend work at improved rates
