Electrical Wholesale Branch Manager

Our client, a market leader in the electrical wholesale sector, is seeking an experienced Designate Branch Manager to manage all aspects of a busy and successful branch based in Bristol.
The ideal candidate will possess an extensive knowledge and network of electrical suppliers and contractors, as well as the ability to manage high-profile customer accounts for both new and existing business.
The successful candidate will have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of wholesale and distribution of electrical products in all areas, including cables, wiring accessories, lighting, lamps, energy management, safety, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, lead, and develop the branch and sales management team, focusing on delivering profitable growth and outstanding customer service to the company's target market segment.
- Formulate branch and area budgets in conjunction with business managers and be responsible for the management and achievement of sales/profitability/working capital targets and service KPIs.
- Communicate the company's service proposition, target markets, and customer service ethos to all staff.
- Support and drive the Group sales initiatives and promotions.
- Monitor and be responsible for promoting health & safety, ensuring adherence to the company's health and safety policy.
- Manage recruitment processes and deal with day-to-day management of staff.
Requirements:
- Branch manager, assistant manager, electrical wholesale, business development experience.
