CNC Turner Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for operating and programming Mazak Lathes to manufacture high-precision components for various sectors, including Motorsport, Automotive, and Oil & Gas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate Mazak Lathes to produce high-precision components
  • Program online using Mazatrol to optimize production efficiency
  • Work collaboratively with a team of skilled machinists or independently when required
  • Follow in-house and customer-based procedures and quality standards
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Mazatrol programming language is beneficial
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of work holding, tool selection, speed & feeds, quality awareness, and time management
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and meet customer deliverables
  • Flexible approach to work and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
  • Apprentice-trained or time-served machinist with at least 5 years of experience
Benefits:
  • Holiday entitlement: 22 days plus bank holidays, rising to 25 days with service
