About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel. As a key member of our Maintenance and Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Address and resolve repair or maintenance issues throughout the hotel as they arise.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on tools and kitchen/mechanical room equipment.
  • Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with departments across the hotel.
  • Report new or developing engineering needs to the Engineering Manager.
  • Maintain the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the hotel, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and more.
  • Assist with inventory organization and ordering.

  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and manage oncall duties effectively.
  • Prior experience as an engineer in a hotel setting.
  • Familiarity with hardware tools and electrical equipment.
