About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with medication administration and clinical care needs
  • Support service users with their daily activities, such as cooking and cleaning
  • Engage with service users in their hobbies and interests
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
  • 3 months' previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Covid Vaccinations
Desirable Skills
  • Spinal Injury Management
Working Hours
  • Full Time and Part Time
  • Days: 8am – 5:30pm
  • 12:30pm – 8:30pm
  • Nights: 8pm – 9am
  • Alternate weekends are needed for this position
Pay Rates
  • Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (£123.50 approx. per 9.5-hour shift)
  • Weeknights: £14.00 per hour (£182 approx. per 13-hour shift)
  • Weekends: £15.00 per hour (£195 approx. per 13-hour shift)
  • Bank Holiday: £17.00 per hour (£221 approx. per 13-hour shift)
