Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Empowering Learning. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in a safe and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with various special educational needs on a 1:1 basis
- Supervise student behavior and encourage positive behavior in the classroom
- Encourage and support students in their learning and development
- Support social interaction and independence
- Assist teachers in preparing lessons and planning activities
Requirements:
- Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs
- Strong communication skills
- Passion and desire to work in a SEND learning environment
