Senior Operational Analyst/Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and capable Senior Operational Analyst to join our team at Gregory Martin International. As a Senior Operational Analyst, you will play a leading role in delivering operational analysis capability as an integral part of a small, agile, and growing business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and run analysis models using Python and other relevant tools.
  • Collaborate with our team of analysts, consultants, and Defence SMEs to deliver high-impact services and solutions.
  • Derive unique insights from data to inform senior-level decision making.
  • Take a leading role in the day-to-day delivery of projects, working closely with our clients and our team.
  • Develop strong relationships with the wider Company's team.
Requirements:
  • Strong mathematical skills and experience with operational analysis approaches and techniques.
  • Software development using Python and other relevant tools.
  • Requirements gathering and software design.
  • Strong data analysis skills and highly numerate.
  • Good communication skills, enabling you to work confidently with team members and clients.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise your work.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience working within UK MoD.
  • UI/UX design and discrete event simulation.
  • Data science techniques and advanced data analysis in Excel, including VBA.
  • Knowledge of current software development approaches, platforms, and best practice.
