Role Overview
As a vital member of the Children's Services Management team, you will be entrusted with overseeing the management and execution of a high-quality service for children, adolescents, and their families. Your responsibilities will include supporting the Operational Lead in delivering a professional service through effective supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the effective delivery of services provided by and commissioned through a Children's Social Care Team.
2. Manage Social Care Staff, ensuring timely completion of assessments and appropriate progression of cases.
3. Uphold the standards set forth by the Children Act 1989, 2004, Inter-agency Child Protection guidelines, and departmental protocols.
You will collaborate closely with professionals across various sectors, including health, education, social care, law enforcement, and youth services, to enhance the lived experiences of children.
