Position Overview

Ward 14 presents a remarkable opportunity for a Band 6 Clinical Lead Nurse. Are you dedicated to providing safe, compassionate care that enhances the patient experience? Do you possess a strong desire to work within the field of Medicine and uphold exceptional standards of care delivery? If so, we invite you to become a vital part of our supportive, dedicated, and dynamic team on Ward 14.

Our objective is to establish our ward as a center of excellence, with ongoing initiatives focused on our dignity pledge, Compassionate Care projects, and the development of our newly implemented frailty pathway.

We are committed to investing in our staff to ensure they possess the necessary skills, values, and expertise to deliver high-quality specialized care for older adults.

Ward 14 is a mixed-gender general medical ward that specializes in diabetes and endocrine care, addressing complex and acute medical conditions.

We embrace a rehabilitation approach, collaborating closely with our therapy teams to promote and maintain mobility and independence for our patients.

This full-time Band 6 position requires an enthusiastic, professional individual who takes pride in their work, is committed to the team's vision, possesses strong leadership qualities, and has a solid understanding of Trust Values while being passionate about enhancing an existing team.
