About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Public Affairs and PR Manager to join our team at the Chartered Association of Business Schools. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive public affairs strategy that supports our organization's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Public Affairs:
- Develop and implement a public affairs strategy that aligns with our organization's goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including politicians, policymakers, and industry leaders.
- Advocate for policy changes that benefit our members and the business school sector.
- Develop and execute public affairs campaigns to raise awareness of our organization's work and promote our members' interests.
- Monitor and analyze policy developments and provide strategic advice to our leadership team.
- PR:
- Develop and implement a PR strategy that supports our public affairs objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts and influencers.
- Develop and disseminate communications materials, including press releases, articles, and social media content.
- Provide strategic communications counsel to our leadership team and members.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and provide regular reports to our leadership team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in public affairs and PR, preferably in a similar role or industry.
- Strong understanding of policy development and the ability to analyze complex policy issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
