Job Title: Asset Maintenance Planner

Kerry is a global leader in the food manufacturing industry, and we're seeking a skilled Asset Maintenance Planner to join our team at our Portbury production facility in Bristol.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to plan and schedule non-emergency maintenance work. As an Asset Maintenance Planner, you'll work closely with our Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure the efficient operation of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and schedule maintenance work to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Coordinate with production, supply chain, and maintenance teams to achieve maintenance objectives.
  • Ensure all maintenance work aligns with engineering standards, including sanitary design, safety, ergonomics, and food safety requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for improving ways of working and preventive maintenance regimes.
  • Maintain accurate records and files for analysis and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role with a good understanding of mechanical and electrical components and systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to negotiate maintenance needs with other departments.
  • Adequate craft knowledge to estimate man hours and materials.
  • Strong IT skills and experience with SAP PM.
