Assistant Headteacher

We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Headteacher to join our team at Great Howarth School, based in the Rochdale area. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will play a vital role in leading our pastoral support, focusing on pupil behaviour and relationships, wellbeing, and attendance.
Our school provides a holistic education to learners aged 7-18 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties, including ADHD and autism. We offer a supportive and structured environment, with a focus on personalised learning and inclusive programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead our pastoral support team, focusing on pupil behaviour and relationships, wellbeing, and attendance.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve pupil outcomes and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with our Director of Curriculum, Headteachers, and Operational Directors to drive school improvement.
- Work closely with our therapeutic team to provide support and guidance to pupils and staff.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our school's curriculum and policies.
