Production Planner
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Production Planner to join our team at IMT Resourcing Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating production activities to meet customer delivery requirements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Plan production orders to meet customer delivery requirements
* Release production orders and book in when complete
* Issue production plans to the shop floor to show forward load and required dates
* Report KPI performance metrics monthly
* Communicate accurate planning information to internal customers
* Assist with identifying and justifying improvement projects
**Requirements:**
* An engineering background in manufacturing
* Demonstrable people management experience
* Ability to communicate with people at all levels within the business
* Highly numerate with competent IT skills (MRP/ERP)
* Knowledge and practical experience of manufacturing techniques, including Lean techniques
**What We Offer:**
