We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team at the World Supercross Championship. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to grow our online presence, increase engagement, and drive brand awareness.
  • Set clear objectives and KPIs for social media campaigns, aligned with overall marketing goals.
  • Identify target audiences and develop content strategies that resonate with them.
  • Develop, curate, and manage high-quality content across all social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Collaborate with the content and design teams to produce engaging multimedia content, including videos, graphics, and live streams.
  • Actively monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all social media channels, fostering a positive and interactive community.
  • Engage with fans, riders, teams, and influencers to build and maintain strong relationships within the supercross community.
  • Implement social listening tools to identify trends, conversations, and opportunities for engagement.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns to support key initiatives, such as event promotions, ticket sales, and sponsorship activations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media efforts with broader campaigns and initiatives.
  • Analyse campaign performance and adjust strategies to optimize results.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably within the sports, entertainment, or motorsport industries.
  • Proven track record of growing social media followings and driving engagement through creative content and campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with the ability to produce engaging content across various formats.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms.
  • Video editing and graphic design skills are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
