Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Polytec Personnel Ltd. This is a permanent role with standard working hours from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair strategies. Your duties will include:
  • Ensuring all equipment and systems are maintained in a reliable and efficient state, addressing any faults or defects promptly.
  • Leading the planning and execution of potential installation projects to enhance facility operations.
  • Utilizing your extensive experience (minimum of 5 years) in maintenance or facilities engineering to contribute to our operational excellence.
  • Applying your knowledge of compliance regulations related to building maintenance to uphold safety and quality standards.
  • Possessing relevant qualifications such as Electrician Level 3 City and Guilds and 18th Edition IET.
  • Demonstrating proven expertise in both electrical and mechanical infrastructure within building environments.
  • Holding a PAT Certificate to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
  • Exhibiting familiarity with HVAC systems, including plant components and building services, as well as security systems like CCTV and fire alarms.
  • Managing air handling units, compressed air systems, and water systems effectively.
  • Possessing necessary licenses such as IPAF Cherry Picker and FLT to operate relevant machinery.
  • Overseeing contractor management, including Permit to Work (PTW) processes and risk assessment reviews.
