Job Title: Water Treatment Plant Technician

Gi Group is proud to be working in partnership with a well-known food manufacturing company to find a skilled Water Treatment Plant Technician.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Water Treatment Plant Technician to join our client's team. As a Water Treatment Plant Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out routine plant checks and water routine checks of cooling towers, as well as general DIY and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine plant checks and water routine checks of cooling towers
  • Perform general DIY and maintenance activities
  • Ensure the quality of water treatment discharge
  • Record all data associated with the Plant
  • Have knowledge of a Water Treatment Plant
  • Organise in relation to supply & control of animal feed
  • Ability / Confidence to operate a tractor & trailer unit
  • Legionella & Confined Space Awareness
