About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide support to a client with mobility challenges. This position involves assisting with various daily activities, ensuring the client can maintain an active and fulfilling lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the client in attending appointments and engaging in community activities.
- Accompany the client on weekly shopping excursions and social outings.
- Provide companionship and support in a friendly and positive manner.
Working Hours
The working hours are flexible and can be discussed during the interview process. The primary commitment will be a 2-hour session in the early afternoon, once a week.
Additional Opportunities
There are opportunities for additional hours due to the current worker's long-term absence. This could amount to approximately 10 hours per week on a temporary basis.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are essential.
- Successful candidates will undergo DBS and reference checks, with costs covered by the local authority.
