About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Advisory Teacher with a background in working with students who have complex needs and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). As a Specialist Advisory Teacher, you will work with a portfolio of clients across secondary and primary schools in the UK, supporting the inclusion of learners with ASC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to schools and settings on best practice strategies for supporting students with complex needs and ASC.
  • Develop and deliver training and professional development opportunities for school staff on ASC and inclusion.
  • Work collaboratively with schools and settings to improve the inclusion of learners with ASC.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to ASC and inclusion.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with students who have complex needs and ASC.
  • Strong knowledge of best practice strategies for supporting students with ASC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with schools and settings.
