Position Summary:
As the Interim Procurement Specialist, your key duties will encompass:

  • Engaging directly with suppliers, nurturing relationships with producers worldwide.
  • Assisting in the execution of the sourcing strategy.
  • Managing defined category procurement.

Qualifications:

  • You should possess substantial experience and enthusiasm as a buyer, ideally within a Fresh Produce or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) context.
  • Proven track record of implementing cost-effective procurement strategies in prior positions.
  • As a proficient communicator, both in writing and verbally, you will exhibit strong interpersonal skills, adeptness in relationship management, and networking capabilities.

Work Arrangement:

  • This role is classified as an Inside IR35 Interim Day Rate position, anticipated to last for approximately 3 months, with a potential for extension.
  • Compensation ranges from £300 to £400 per day.
