Arboricultural Officer

We are seeking a skilled Arboricultural Officer to join our team at Runnymede Borough Council. As an Arboricultural Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and safety of our trees and woodlands.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Tree Officer with enquiries, reactive tree issues, regular and reactive inspections, issuing of works orders, checking tree works, and closing orders.
- Competently assess the condition of trees and identify any risks, prescribing necessary works in accordance with British standards and best practice.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors, and the public to achieve our tree care goals.
- Professional tree inspection qualification and/or level 4 in Arboriculture.
- At least two years of experience in an Arboricultural surveyor role or similar.
- Proficiency with tree survey software (Treesmart) and Microsoft software.
- Self-motivated, able to use own initiative, and work effectively as part of a team.
