We are seeking a highly motivated and confident Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our East Sutherland Integrated Health and Social Care Team. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work across both ward and community settings, with a strong focus on re-ablement.

As a successful candidate, you will hold a degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. You will have a broad skill mix or be willing to expand your skill set to meet the demands of a fully integrated Occupational Therapy setting. An interest in Housing Adaptations is advantageous.

Key skills and qualities required for this role include effective communication, organisational, and time management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be based at Migdale Hospital, Bonar Bridge, and will be expected to work across our sister hospital in Golspie and the surrounding remote and rural community.

Regular supervision and support will be provided, along with opportunities for self-development through annual appraisals and personal development plans. You will be responsible for the supervision and day-to-day workload management of Band 4 assistants, and the department is keen to continue supporting student placements.

A UK driving licence is essential, and a pool car will be available. However, applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes, if required. This is a permanent full-time post of 37 hours per week, worked in accordance with service requirements.
