Job Summary:

Serco Plc is seeking a skilled Gas Engineer/Plumbing Specialist to join our Facilities Management team at HMP Doncaster. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, repairs, and testing of gas systems, as well as general plumbing and fitting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that pre-planned maintenance schedules are up-to-date and maintained as required.
  • Assist in multi-trade support of other team members in completing work.
  • Carry out fault finding and defect rectification to installed plant and equipment.
  • Install new plant and apparatus as defined and specified.
  • Assist other team members with their activities as required.

Requirements:

  • Gas Safe registered Engineer with a C & G Certificate in Commercial Gas servicing.
  • Valid Plumbing Qualification (C&G, NVQ).
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Commitment to working as part of a team and flexible approach to working.
