About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to work with our national charity, part of Recovery Focus, a leading provider of specialist support services. As a Mental Health Recovery Worker, you will be part of a team that delivers safe, high-quality support to individuals and families affected by mental ill health, drug and alcohol use, gambling, and domestic violence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic therapeutic support to service users, addressing both immediate crisis and long-term recovery goals.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Support service users in developing strategies and tools for ongoing mental health recovery.
  • Operate within a non-judgmental and person-centered approach, prioritizing the needs and well-being of service users.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
Requirements
  • Understanding of professional boundaries and ability to work with clients with mental health needs.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding principles and practices.
