Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the workflow for editorial teams, ensuring the seamless integration of:
  • New vehicle entries into the database
  • Specialized valuation inquiries
  • Collaborate with the New Vehicle Data team to prioritize vehicle inclusion in our Monitor system.
  • Oversee the preparation of analytical reports utilized by editors prior to monthly pricing discussions.
  • Engage in the decision-making process during monthly pricing meetings.
  • Document and manage decisions made in these meetings to ensure accurate database updates.
  • Conduct audits on monthly data movements to align with agreed-upon decisions.
  • Provide support for the management of vehicle age identifiers within the database.
  • Control and oversee the production of commercial vehicle data products.

Objectives

  • Minimize lead times for vehicle data integration.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of pricing activities across both LCV and HGV formats.
  • Deliver precise and timely valuation products.
  • Regularly review products to confirm their relevance and effectiveness.
  • Ensure effective workload management.

Vehicle Workflow Management

Direct new vehicle information to the appropriate editorial team for product inclusion, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreement targets.

Vehicle Pricing Documentation

Provide thorough documentation to support editors in making informed pricing decisions during monthly meetings.

Audit vehicle pricing movements to ensure compliance with documented decisions.

Database Support

Assist Current Value Editors with regular updates for age identifiers in current value products.

Production Process Oversight

Ensure that the monthly production process adheres to established timelines, completing necessary documentation and providing feedback to editors and forecast managers regarding any concerns.
