This dynamic organization operates across multiple entities, seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of their parent company and six associated businesses.
The RoleAs the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth financial functioning of this growing group. You will collaborate closely with Directors, the Managing Director, Responsible Persons, and the wider team to manage financial processes, procurement, and contribute to the overall financial strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all invoicing processes, ensuring timely and accurate issuance of invoices to customers.
- Oversee supplier invoice processing and payments in accordance with agreed terms.
- Implement effective credit control measures to ensure prompt collection of outstanding receivables.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for all sales and purchase transactions using Xero software.
- Prepare comprehensive management accounts for each company within the group, presenting monthly reports to directors.
- Submit VAT returns to HMRC on a monthly or quarterly basis for all companies.
- File NHS generics reports with NHS England and inward processing relief reports with HMRC as required.
- Provide sell-out data and reports to relevant stakeholders according to agreed frequencies.
- Ensure the timely preparation of internal and external financial reports.
- Manage payroll, staff pensions, and PAYE processes in compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of all staff and contractors, including commission calculations.
- Scrutinize operational purchases to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
- Collaborate with commercial, quality, and Responsible Persons to ensure adherence to GDP documentation requirements.
- Conduct credit checks on prospective customers and establish credit limits, maintaining accurate records in the ATL system.
- Oversee monthly stock checks and reports in collaboration with warehouse staff and Responsible Persons, ensuring data is uploaded to Xero.
- Manage procurement and inventory of office supplies, stationery, and general facility sundries.
This part-time role offers a competitive salary and benefits package:
- Part-time hours: 20 per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 1pm.
- Salary between £25,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience).
- Performance-based bonuses: 5% based on personal performance and 5% based on company performance.
- Annual leave: 21 days pro rata + bank holidays (3 days during Christmas) plus additional holiday when offices are closed.
