Position:
Fire and Security Engineer

With NSI Gold and BAFE accreditation, this role offers the chance to collaborate with leading engineers and state-of-the-art systems at significant client locations.


Compensation Package:

  • Competitive basic salary of up to £36,000
  • Opportunities for overtime
  • Standby pay of £145 per week
  • Performance-based bonus scheme
  • 23 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Reimbursement for travel expenses after 30 minutes each way, along with additional compensation for late-night travel

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting service and maintenance on a variety of systems, including Fire alarms, Access Control, Intruder alarms, Nurse Call, Door Entry, and CCTV
  • Occasionally managing small-scale projects related to the aforementioned systems
  • Reporting directly to the Field Line Manager
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of all necessary documentation
  • Efficiently managing workload, inventory, and vehicle operations

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Fire and Security Systems
  • Familiarity with British Standards and Health and Safety regulations
  • Valid UK Driving License is essential
  • CSCS or ECS card is preferred but not mandatory
  • Manufacturer training is advantageous
  • Capability to pass Security Screening
