About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team at Engage Education. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading lessons and covering in the absence of class teachers for varying subjects at schools in Lewisham.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will receive training provided by the school and Engage Education. You will be part of a close and dynamic team, with minimal planning and marking required.

We welcome applications from candidates with any level of experience, although previous experience of working with students with challenging behaviour will be an advantage. If you are an aspiring teacher, or an experienced cover supervisor looking for a position, this opportunity could be ideal for you.

About You
  • Experience working with students aged 11-16
  • Flexibility to work on different subjects
  • Confident managing behaviour
  • An ability to build rapport with students
  • Have a fun but firm presence
  • An interest in education
