HSE Lead Role

Bilfinger UK is a leading engineering and maintenance provider, supporting customers across various markets. We enhance the efficiency of assets, ensuring high availability and reducing maintenance costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop stakeholder relationships regarding HSE matters
  • Disseminate experience and knowledge to HSE Advisors
  • Lead team members in executing effective audits of customer sites and ensuring timely follow-up on actions
  • Engage with and develop relationships with Client HSE personnel
  • Be an active and visible team member by participating in audits and inspections, interacting with site personnel, and HSE Advisors
  • Work with Operational Management to enable them to take ownership and deliver HSE 'through the line'

Collaboration and Improvement:

  • Work closely with the Regional HSE Manager to identify and monitor issues, create new ideas, and drive improvements to products, services, health, safety, and environmental performance

Routine Duties:

  • Provide support to Operations to ensure all hazards associated with site activities are identified and risks to health, safety, and the environment are assessed and controlled
  • Ensure the BMS system is adhered to
  • Disseminate HSE information to HSE Advisors on new regulations, practices, and initiatives
  • Give guidance and advice on HSE systems and initiatives within Bilfinger UK
  • Conduct HSE audits onsite
  • Deliver onsite HSE training as required
  • Develop HSE Initiatives
  • Provide guidance and support on HSE matters to on-site personnel and Management
  • Ensure all HSE-related concerns are reported and actively followed up with Operational Management on site

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Auditing/Inspection
  • Incident Management & Investigation
  • HSE Legislation
  • CDM Regulations Experience
  • Management System Standards
  • Industrial Services Sector and Petrochemical Industry
  • Improvement planning
  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Grad IOSH Status
  • NVQ 5/NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) - Preferred
