At Northrop Grumman Corp. (AU), we're seeking a talented AWS Lead Engineer to join our Geospatial Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in delivering large-scale, complex solutions that support our nation's security and future.

About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and collaborative individual with a strong background in Geospatial concepts, GIS integration, and cloud infrastructure. As an AWS Lead Engineer, you'll lead work as part of an Agile team, providing subject matter expertise and ensuring timely delivery and solution quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the specification, development, and delivery of large complex solutions using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) integration
  • Provide 3rd line support and enhancements for GIS Software Services, as well as support and maintenance for industry-leading COTS products
  • Act as a Geospatial SME, providing in-depth knowledge and expertise within a team or project
  • Support and work alongside others within the project team to ensure timely delivery and solution quality
  • Experience with deploying and supporting enterprise GIS Systems, preferably Esri ArcGIS Enterprise
  • Understanding of Data Management principles to ensure best use of organisation and visualisation of mapping services
  • Experience of using cloud infrastructure within AWS - Automated deployments (IaaC, Serverless)
