Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our Fulfilment Operations team at IKEA Croydon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest goods availability, operational readiness, and lowest possible cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Fulfilment Operations team to achieve operational excellence and meet business objectives.
  • Identify, recruit, retain, and develop a diverse and high-performing team to execute daily responsibilities with confidence.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, ensuring compliance with IKEA Code of Conduct, internal regulations, and local legislation.
  • Contribute to goal achievement, people, shift, and equipment planning, and drive the implementation of local business plans and projects.
  • Support the implementation of the Customer Fulfilment Sustainability agenda in the assigned unit operations environment.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience and proven performance in retail and/or logistics roles.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in leading people with a proven record of successful leadership delivering business results and people development.
  • Proven experience in working through others, setting priorities, delegating responsibility, and giving open and honest feedback.
  • Business-minded approach with a clear customer focus and ability to meet agreed budgets and goals.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Ability to implement structural ways of working within the area of responsibility.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English.
  • Problem-solving experience.
