Job Summary

We are seeking a Graduate Systems Engineer to join our Engineering team working on Cyber Security or Electronic Warfare projects. As a Graduate Systems Engineer, you will contribute to the development of complex Cyber Security or Electronic Warfare Systems, generate technical proposals, and develop design solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of complex Cyber Security or Electronic Warfare Systems
  • Generate technical proposals, bids, and presentations
  • Develop design solutions, liaising closely with Software, Electronic design, and Mechanical design teams
  • Support the test and qualification strategy for solutions and sub-systems through writing and running system tests
  • Participate in trials, customer demonstrations, and onsite acceptance testing in a range of countries worldwide
Requirements
  • 2:1 or above in Systems Engineering (or similar) or equivalent qualification and experience
  • Awareness of Systems Engineering development lifecycles and a basic understanding of key aspects of Systems Engineering such as Requirements, Architectural design, Integration, and/or Verification
  • The ability to document design solutions clearly and concisely for understanding by technical and non-technical audiences
  • Some knowledge of electronics is desirable, preferably including aspects of RF systems (e.g., Communications, Radar, or Electronic Warfare)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including hardware or software engineers, project managers, and external customers
  • Proficient IT skills in all standard Microsoft Office applications and some demonstrable experience of Software development (C, C++, or Python)
