About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at RG Consultancy. As a key member of our management team, you will play a critical role in driving the financial performance of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and finalize monthly management accounts and management information (MI) packs, including commentary, and report directly to the Managing Director.
- Leadership and Strategy: Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to the strategic direction of the company.
- Financial Performance Evaluation: Continuously evaluate the company's financial performance and identify opportunities for value creation.
- Financial Insights and Advice: Act as a trusted advisor to the Managing Director and the operational management team, providing clear, concise financial insights to support business decisions.
- Financial Management: Manage and reconcile the balance sheet, ensuring accurate control and reporting.
- Rebate Management: Oversee the entire process of rebate management and reconciliations.
- VAT Reconciliations: Conduct VAT reconciliations and handle VAT returns.
- Financial Systems: Oversee the company's financial systems, ensuring they are effectively managed.
- Finance Team Leadership: Lead the finance team, including recruitment, training, and professional development.
- Accounts Payable and Credit Control: Manage Accounts Payable, Credit Control, and Cash Management functions.
- Financial Forecasting and Budgeting: Complete financial forecasting and develop comprehensive budgets.
- Annual Audit: Lead and manage the entire annual audit process.
- Bank Relationships: Manage day-to-day relationships with the bank, including completing quarterly financial reports.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including managing company insurance policies.
- Insurance Renewals: Oversee the renewal of company insurance policies, including credit insurance.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Handle various ad hoc projects and analyses to drive continuous improvement within the company.
- Process Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance business efficiency.
- Performance Monitoring: Assess company performance through key data analysis, monitoring, and developing KPIs to drive improvements.
- SAP Business One: Strong working knowledge of SAP Business One is highly desirable.
