Position Overview
Stirling Council is on the lookout for a dedicated and passionate Senior Early Childhood Educator to join our team at St Mary's Episcopal Nursery. This role requires an individual who is not only skilled but also possesses the enthusiasm to guide a small team while nurturing the overall ethos of our educational environment.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in early childhood education and childcare, showcasing the necessary skills and competencies essential for this position. As a Senior Early Childhood Educator, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the management, planning, and execution of a flexible, high-quality service tailored to the needs of children and families.
We seek a professional who can inspire, motivate, and support colleagues in enhancing their practices. You will be responsible for implementing effective learning programs that cater to the individual needs of each child, in accordance with local and national guidelines. A relevant level 9 practice qualification, such as a BA in Childhood Practice, is required or you should be willing to pursue this qualification.
Applicants are encouraged to clearly outline the skills, experience, and attributes they bring to this role. To comply with employment conditions, you must be registered as a Manager with the SSSC before or within six months of your appointment.
This is a full-time position, with working hours between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM on a rotating shift basis.
St Mary's operates as a term-time nursery; however, the successful candidate will be expected to fulfill contracted hours in other Early Years establishments as required.
