We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our vibrant team at a small animal practice in Yeovil. As a Head RVN, you will have the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas.
The ideal candidate will be supported by a passionate team of vets and nursing staff, including SVN and Patient Care Assistants, as well as a dedicated reception team. This is a full-time permanent position, covering 40 hours per week over five days, with a weekend rota of 1:3 Saturday mornings.
The clinic is a beautiful building with period features and character in every room. We are well equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory machines, multiparameter anaesthetic monitor, and many nursing aids.
We offer an excellent package, including a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum, a health cash plan from day one, a 24/7 Private GP Service, an additional 'Day for You' as a paid day's leave, 33 days' annual leave (including Bank Holidays) rising to 38 with length of service, Clinical CPD: £750 per year plus 2 days' paid leave, VDS, RCVS and BVA fees paid, and plenty more.
