Mildmay Oaks is a secure rehabilitation facility dedicated to supporting men with learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorders, as well as women with learning disabilities.

We are conveniently located near a train station and provide transportation services during winter months.

Priory Mildmay Oaks is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will serve as the primary support for our patients, providing empathetic care during your interactions with them.

No prior experience in healthcare is necessary; we take pride in the career development and training we offer. As long as you possess the essential qualities for a role in care, we will equip you with the training and support needed to become a skilled healthcare professional. You will also collaborate with qualified nurses and medical professionals for daily guidance.

While we do not require previous healthcare experience, certain attributes are essential for success in this role:
• Resilience – Working with vulnerable patients who may experience various mental health challenges can be demanding, making teamwork essential in our facilities.
• Strong Communication Skills – Effective communication with patients and staff is crucial for understanding patient needs and conveying information to healthcare professionals.
• Organizational Skills – You should be comfortable documenting information and maintaining an organized approach.

Care and Compassion – Our patients deserve the highest level of care and empathy. If you are naturally caring, this role is for you.
• Attentiveness – Each patient is unique, and being attentive to their needs is vital for providing appropriate support.
